When we got to Lochmara Lodge we went to the red crowned Kakariki. I could smell poo where the pigs were and in the Kakariki cage and the smell of freshness by the water. We went into the cage where they are kept they were cool they were flying all around us and they sat on some of our heads. When they sat on our heads you have a bad feeling that they could poop on your head. And when they land on your hands there claws grip into your skin and they try to find all the good food. They were also noisy.

This is quite good, it's like I just walked into the bird cage. Be careful of the pronouns you use (like they or it). Make sure you let your readers know who or what you are talking about.
